So fun to see another Godot user out there making good stuff!

How on earth did you make that custom loading screen at the beginning though?

This is an amazing game! I love it! I did notice that there is one latter level that seems to be bugged out. Latter lead to nowhere, doors clip through walls, it just seems unplayable. I haven't been able to beat that level or even figure out how I'm supposed to beat it.

the game: they all cut and the last one kills

me: what

Yo I really enjoyed this.

I like :D

WHY

Thanks for the game. It made me really sad.

cool :)

I like it. It reminds me of Atari games

yep

It's simple but clean, which is nice. I really like the dots

Very fun, added to my steam library!

Fan game

:)

Nice game, go on!

A good game. I liked this game. It teaches you how to make a pixel game, but you have to modify the elements of the game to become a little more beautiful, but in terms of performance, it is very suitable for a good game.

This game woke something inside of me I didn't know existed. Anyways this is truly a fun game I the controls are really easy and responsive as intended.

Love the approach to the levels. Found my first playthrough staight to the bell tower, then I found myself in a second run trying to complete all the levels, then the true difficulty started to show, though optional. It's interesting to see a difficulty select without a difficulty select, yeno?

Simple, but fun and challenging

Nice one thanks

Every time I try and play this, I get a game over

good game bro!

Fuck you

agreed

I played this when it came out six or whatever months ago and it still haunts me. In particular because it's not splashy or flashy, just a straightforward platformer that surely couldn't have any underlying message regarding the inevitability of death/the consequences of our own actions.

Such a seriously f*cking special game. Terry Cavanagh never disappoints.

oh Terry, you silly banana.

This reminds me of that one adventure time episode, overall really enjoyed it :)

PT 2?

perfect level design.

I had a lot of fun playing this -- I don't want to be too specific and ruin the experience for others reading the comments, but I'll just say there are some levels later that aren't like the levels before, and I thought it was impressive how those different levels were still balanced and fun to play

I think a lot of people like myself see some of the stars or challenges and think, "Oof! That looks too hard for now, but maybe I'll come back and do that later." And I think this game has an interesting moral about those kinds of challenges.

Cool game, thank you!!!

> And I think this game has an interesting moral about those kinds of challenges.

I'd be interested in if you could elaborate on this! How to do so without ruining the experience for others, though...

Do you mean that the moral might be you sometimes can't go back and do those challenges?

(+1)

Yeah, to me the moral was something like - don't put things off until later, because there might not be a later! That was my takeaway

Interesting! I appreciate your response :)
