i made an itch.io account specifically to tell you how good this game is. I am sick with a fever, and was looking for a free short platformer to play, and this made my absolute day. thank you for egg!!!

Thanks for that game, I'm instantly drawn to it with an irrepressible envy to explore and discover all the eggy secrets - I got the nest so far, but I can feel that there is a lot to achieve opening all the pipes. I had enjoyed VVVVVV and superhexagoon a lot, a long time ago, playing them on my phone. And today I stumble across your name on itch.io, that's so cool :-) I'm new to the platform and as I've just released my first game (a humble endeavour while being unemployed, um...), I'm looking around to see what other people have come up to. Egg is definitely a cool game, thank you for the experience, I'm going back to it, hoping to uncover more secrets.
oh man the moment i got to a nest, celebrated beating the game, then... spawned back in at the start with 5 eggs left my mind was blown and now i cant help but notice that those branches seem very parkourable
One downside is that there’s no jump charge indicator, so without it, it’s hard to tell if you’ll make the jump or not. Another downside is that in the underwater level, the sound of walking sounds like you’re walking on grass. Yet another downside is that the blades have a hitbox that’s too large I died just by touching a part where there were no visible blades.

I was talking about the eggs searching for their dreams in distant lands. I still had one nest left when I posted that.
This game looked bad at the start, but it has a touching story and unique maps and good music. Great job!
