Dicey Dungeons v0.15.1

Hey everyone! v0.15 is finally out! Actually, v0.15.1 is out - I forgot to do a devlog for the last big update :D

Anyway, this one's huge! v0.15 introduces Quests, which are a major part of where I want to take the game, as well as a bunch of big art, design and tech changes. You can read the full changelog here: http://diceydungeons.com/blog/2018/12/25/version-15.html

Thanks for playing, and I hope you enjoy the new update!

Hey, since the quest update, i havent been able to see my completed quests on the character screen. It continues to show 6 blank cards regardless of my victories. Playing 15.01 on Mac, same bug on 15.00

Not a bug, just not implemented yet, sorry!

Ah, then no worries i suppose!

The game doesn't remember my settings between sessions. If I, for example, lower the volume then quit, it will reset itself to max when i start it again. The same applies to combat animation speed.

I had the same volume reset trouble with the previous version. Running it on Ubuntu MATE 18.04.

I'm in love with this game but I found a small bug.

I was playing thief though and I encountered a fight against an alchemist. During the fight I tried stealing the turn into bear ability but the game crashed. I'd love to be able to turn into a bear but it might be a bit hard to code.

Came here to say the exact same thing!

Hi, bought the game a few days ago, loving it so far.

I have a small question though: Could we please have a little confirmation thing for fleeing combat? I've lost like three runs by accidentally clicking on the arrow instead of doing lethal damage to my enemy :'(

Sure, that sounds like a good idea! I made a note to add something! https://github.com/TerryCavanagh/diceydungeons.com/issues/818

Yay :D

Hey! My game crashed twice in a row just now. On both occasions I was playing a thief, fought an alchemist, used their ability to change into a bear-die (which is a lovely addition by the way, I was so happy when I found that) and then ended the combat by winning. Otherwise my game seems to work absolutely perfect, but still it might be something you want to take a look at. Cheers!

Very similar for me! I was playing thief where you get to steal equipment, took a Kraken's 'Overwhelm' and crashed. Was on version 15.0 so I'm going to update now.

Does anyone know where I should send my other feedback and bug reports?

Heya! I have a bug-report channel on my discord (link in the store description), and a github issues page here! https://github.com/TerryCavanagh/diceydungeons.github.io

Hey! Sorry, Bear Potion is buggy right now :( Hope to have that fixed for v0.16!

Hi just bought the game (came here from Angory Tom's youtube vids..!) and when I start it up I just get a white window and nothing happens.. Am I doing something wrong? Playing on Windows 10 64bit and running through the itch launcher. Cheers.

Just an update - I got it working by clicking randomly in the white window and suddenly it went full screen and worked fine. Cheers.

Hey, thanks for letting me know about this one! No one else has reported this, so I'm not sure what might be causing it, but I'll made a note to look into it - https://github.com/TerryCavanagh/diceydungeons.com/issues/819

My text still won't load for English. Is there something I could do to fix the font file?

Hey! Sorry to hear that :(

I think this might be caused by an out of date graphics driver, usually a built in intel one. If you search for "intel graphics driver" and install the latest, this should fix the problem!

Weird thing is that a few of the languages work... I'll try it on my other computer when I can. Really want to play it :)
